The Company Bocca d'Olio was born in the early 1900s from the love of the family Roma and its founder Francesco Roma, a passionate lover of the best Apulian olive oil tradition.
The passion for a quality olive oil and for the peasant culture was inherited from his nephew Francesco, who currently deals with the company, working in respect of tradition and of the environment.
Bocca d'olio is situated in the heart of Salento, among the farms of Ostuni, the well- known "White City", located between the marine reserve of Torre Guaceto and the coastal Dune Park, in the beautiful scenery of ancient olive trees, made unmistakable by the winds of two seas: the Adriatic sea and the Ionian sea.
It has a total area of 15 hectares, located at an average altitude of 210 metres and it belongs to the striking Oil Road, a route that connects the major towns in the province of Brindisi, connected with the production of extra virgin olive oil and typical products, offering visitors the opportunity to discover farms, villages, oil mills that are the subject of historical, tourist and gastronomic interest.
It is on this land that the Bocca d' Olio has founded its roots, an historical adventure in which the man and the taste are the winning combination for a quality oil.
